28 Weeks Later is less intelligent than its predecessor yet entertaining enough for "zombie" movie fans. The film's title excuses the (hopefully) ludicrous premise that NATO (i.e. the U.S. in this case) would move so quickly to repopulate 15,000 Londoners back into the environment of the devastating contagion. Unfortunately, the story relies on too many nonchalant security protocols to allow a new outbreak. The resulting chaos is fun, but not quite as satisfying as the beginning.
