Barnes & Noble nook

Yesterday was not the best day to make a new CE announcement, but suppose it was better than springing a release on Monday. Barnes & Noble's new nook ebook appears to top the Sony Reader Touch Edition, and Amazon Kindle 2—at least on paper. The $259 digital book reader doesn't ship until November 30th, but it boasts an impressive list of features. The Android-based device reads EPUB and PDF, includes Wi-Fi, and is Mac compatible. Digital books can even be loaned to iPhone and iPod touch users! It probably won't be long before Amazon lowers the Kindle's price again...
