Apple announced new
21.5 and 27-inch iMacs today! Both can be upgraded to
16 GB of RAM, and there are
quad-core options for the 27-inch model! Apple's
wireless keyboard is now standard, and a new multi-touch
Magic Mouse replaces the old
Mighty Apple Mouse design. Polycarbonate lives on in the form of a new
unibody MacBook that's still priced at $999. (Tip: It's still worth the extra $200 for the
13-inch MacBook Pro.) The Mac mini also survived premature rumors of cancellation by expanding the product line to include a
server version that trades a SuperDrive for another hard drive. Modest updates to
AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule, and a new anodized aluminum
Apple Remote rounded out Apple's announcements. Looking forward to checking out the shiny new hardware in person once the local Apple Store puts them on display...
