
NongShim of Korea's "Japanese Style Udon Noodle Soup" are convenient—albeit environmentally unfriendly—bowls with contents that mostly reconstitutes into passable udon after adding a couple rounds of
boiling water. The dehydrated kamaboko and some of the thicker green onion bits don't quite come back to life. Like any fast food, it contains a crazy serving of sodium, which at least soothes a sore throat.
