Finally got around to finishing the Call of Duty: Black Ops solo campaign. Its Vietnam-era epic is slightly deeper than the near-future story in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Classic Cold War weapons are a nice change of pace, but Modern Warfare weapons such as the AC-130U are more fun. Black Ops' multi-player gaming features some nice refinements. For example, one cannot instantly switch between standing and prone, which is an annoying tactic in MW2. It's also possible to equip Semtex, two concussion grenades, and a Claymore! All told, the latest CoD installment is worth the price of admission.
