Google Buying Motorola Mobility

Google claims they're going to "supercharge Android" with their acquisition of Motorola Mobility, the piece of Motorola that makes smartphones, tablets, home routers (eek!), and set-top boxen. Moto's IP portfolio may be a win for Android licensees, but one wonders if curtailing lawsuits is worth arming Skynet with an apparatus that enables it to build its own hardware...
